• Avoid direct contact with chemicals such as hairspray, perfume, oils and moisturisers.
• Store jewellery in the original pouch and place away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
• Remove jewellery when swimming, showering, exercising, if it's a hot day and you will be perspiring and whilst sleeping.
• If you layer rings, earrings or necklaces, note that metal rubbing against metal can affect the wear of your pieces.

STERLING SILVER JEWELLERY

Sterling silver is composed of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, as pure silver is too soft for jewelry making. Its hypoallergenic properties make sterling silver an excellent choice for those with sensitive skin, and it also boasts a bright, shiny finish. Over time, sterling silver may darken due to its reaction with air. However, this tarnish can be easily removed, and the original shine restored using a polishing cloth.

A great metal we like to work with is stainless steel, due to its exceptional durability and resistance to corrosion and oxidation. While it may have a "duller" appearance compared to sterling silver, stainless steel is incredibly long-lasting and doesn’t tarnish. It requires minimal maintenance and is easy to clean, making it ideal for everyday wear. You can even wear it in water or while showering without worrying about tarnishing or discoloration.

• Freshwater pearls are soft in nature and can be scratched easily.  Avoid leaving them in extreme dry conditions or immerse them completely in water.
• Clean them occassionally with a moist, soft cloth.
• Avoid harmful chemicals like alcohol, ammonia, bleach, chlorine, acetone, hairspray, perfume and cosmetics.
• Do not clean pearls using silver polishing cloth.
