SSFW pieces are designed to be worn often and loved over time.
With gentle care, your jewellery can retain its beauty for years to come.
General Care
To keep your jewellery looking its best, avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, alcohol, sanitiser, chlorine and harsh chemicals.
We recommend removing your jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping.
After wear, gently wipe your pieces with a soft cloth before storing them separately in a dry place.
Jade
Each jade piece carries naturally unique tones, textures and variations, making every piece one of a kind.
- Wipe gently after wear with a soft dry cloth.
- Avoid harsh chemicals, perfumes and prolonged moisture.
- Store separately to prevent scratches or knocks against harder materials.
Pearls
Pearls are naturally delicate and benefit from gentle handling.
- Wear pearls last, after perfume, skincare and hairspray.
- Remove them first at the end of the day.
- Wipe gently after wear and store separately from other jewellery.
18K Gold Plated Brass
Our 18K gold plated brass pieces are finished with a plating thickness of approximately 0.5 to 1 micron.
To prolong the finish, avoid excessive exposure to moisture, sweat, friction and chemicals. Store your pieces dry when not worn.
18K Gold Plated 925 Silver
Our 18K gold plated 925 silver pieces combine a sterling silver base with a layer of 18K gold plating.
As silver is a precious metal, it may naturally oxidise over time. Gently wipe after wear and store in an airtight pouch when possible.
Titanium & Stainless Steel
Our titanium and stainless steel pieces are selected for their durability and suitability for everyday wear.
They are generally more resistant to tarnishing, but we still recommend keeping them dry and clean to preserve their shine.
Gemstones
Natural gemstones may vary in colour, inclusions and texture. These characteristics are part of their natural beauty.
- Avoid impact against hard surfaces.
- Keep away from harsh chemicals and extreme heat.
- Store separately to protect both the stones and surrounding jewellery.
Storage
Store each piece individually in its pouch or box to minimise scratches, tangling and friction.
Keep jewellery away from humid areas such as bathrooms, and avoid leaving pieces under direct sunlight for extended periods.
A Small Ritual of Care
Jewellery is personal. A simple habit of wiping and storing your pieces gently after wear can help preserve their beauty over time.
